Using the planner without an account
You can use TorahSchedule without signing in. Your settings, schedule titles, saved library, and checked learning items are stored in your browser on your device. Clearing your browser data can remove these local copies. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see them.
Optional Google sign-in and sync
Google sign-in provides TorahSchedule with your Google account identifier and email address. We use these to identify your account and display your sign-in status. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendar.
Signing in does not by itself upload your local schedules. If you enable sync on a device, your saved schedules—including their titles, dates, learning settings, and progress—are stored with your account on the site's hosted database so you can access them on other signed-in devices. Google authenticates you; your schedules are not saved in Google Drive.
We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in for up to seven days. Provider access tokens are used on the server to verify identity and are not stored in your schedule library. Your Google password is entered only on Google's own sign-in pages, not on TorahSchedule.
Your controls
You can pause sync or sign out at any time. Signing out leaves local schedule copies on that device. Deleting a saved schedule while sync is enabled removes it from the synced library after a successful sync; offline devices can retain older local copies until they reconnect. You can ask for deletion of your account's hosted library through the Feedback form linked in the planner's footer. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.
Shared schedule links
A copied schedule link contains the schedule settings, title, and progress needed to reproduce that plan. Anyone you give that link to can read those details. Avoid putting private information in titles or sharing links you want to keep private.
Analytics, infrastructure, and external services
The site uses Google Analytics to understand usage, including page visits, interactions, approximate location, and traffic sources. Custom schedule titles and checked-item details are excluded from our analytics page-view URLs. Google and the site's hosting infrastructure process connection information such as IP addresses and browser information to provide their services.
Torah reading calendar lookups use Hebcal. Learning-text links open Sefaria, which has its own privacy practices. The site is hosted using Sites infrastructure and Cloudflare. These services may process technical logs for delivery, security, and troubleshooting.
Feedback and contact
The Feedback form sends your message privately to the site operator. Your name and reply email are optional. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information. Use that form for privacy questions or deletion requests.
